Moody
Moody is the President & CEO of Metal Service Center,
Inc., with locations in Hayward, Santa Clara and Redwood
City. He sits on the Board of Directors for the Hayward
Chamber of Commerce, and is President of the Hayward Area
Parks and Recreation Foundation. He is also a member of
the Royal Canadian Legion.
Moody was raised a Master Mason at Saanich Lodge #89,
located in Saanichton, B.C., in 1998. |
| He
joined the Oakland Chapter of the Scottish Rite and received
his 32nd degree in 2002. Moody then joined the Knights of
Saint Andrew and served as Lord of the Clan in 2005 . In
2006, he was elected the Commander of the Demolay Council,
Knights Kadosh No. 2, at the Scottish Rite as well. Also
in 2006, Moody joined Summit Lodge #112, located at Knights
Ferry.
In 2007, Moody was awarded the honorary degree of Knight
Commander Court of Honor (KCCH), for his continuing dedicated
service to the Oakland Scottish Rite.
Moody joined Aahmes Shriners in 2002, and has been active
in many facets of the organization ever since. He was
Purveyor Manager for two years, golf tournament organizer
for two years, and represented the Shrine at our Northern
California hospital in Sacramento, sitting on various
committees, while serving a term on the Board of Governors.
Moody is a member of the Royal Order of Jesters, and the
Order of Quetzalcoatl. He is also a member of Rameses Shriners
in Toronto, as well as the Newbeaver Shrine Club. He belongs
to several clubs and units at Aahmes, including the Golf
Club, Rod and Gun Club , Shrine Patrol and Clowns.
Moody enjoys boating, water skiing, wine collecting, and
of course, hockey! He resides in Livermore with his wife,
Vesta.
