Steve Glazier - Recorder

Recorder

Steven D. Glazier

Glazier retired in 1994 after 33 years of Federal Government Service. His last position was as the Assistant Regional Administrator for Administration and Management for the Occupational Safety and Health Administration for Regions IX and X. Steve’s background includes various management positions in the Computer and Human Resources areas. Steve served as the Director of Human Resources for the U.S. Department of Labor in Region IX for 13 years prior to his position with

OSHA.

Steve was raised a Master Mason in Elmer Timberman Lodge #54 in Annandale, VA, in 1969 while working for the Defense Department in Washington, D.C. Steve joined the Scottish Rite in Oakland in 1982 and in 1983 became a member of Aahmes Shriners. Steve has been very active in the Motorcycle Patrol and for several years also rode as a member of the Mounted Patrol having ridden in the 1991 Rose Bowl Parade and competing in the Grand National Rodeo as a member of the 4-man Flag Unit and taking 1st place twice. Steve has served on the adult Boards for the Demolay, serving as Chapter Dad, the Rainbow Girls and the Jobs Daughters. Steve is currently the 1st Vice President of the Shrine Recorders Association and is the Chief of Staff for the East/West Shrine College All Star Game.

He is a member of the Royal Order of Jesters Court #6 and a Past Camaxtli of Teocali #13 Order of Quetzalcoatl. Steve is also an Associate member of a couple of Shrine Temples and belongs to several other Units and Clubs including the Alchemist Clowns and the Golf Club among others.

Steve has two Children and four Grandchildren which are the joy of his life. Steve resides in Concord with his wife of 47 years,
